PET INSURANCE really helps with:
|
Would you help your best friend?
Of course you would!
Years ago I had a Manchester terrier mix. Pepe was active and happy.
She was always there for me. Pet insurance was just being introduced.
I saw no need to buy pet insurance, I could afford her annual check ups and shots.
One day a German shepherd came on my property and attacked Pepe,
throwing her around like a rag doll. She almost died.
Pet insurance would have taken care of most of her medical bills.
Did I get pet insurance after that incident? NO!
Not long after that episode Pepe needed kidney dialysis
which cost me 1000's of dollars. Had I purchased pet insurance,
Pepe's care would have cost $100's, not $1000's.
I lost Pepe, my 'doggie daughter' to kidney failure.
The tears were streaming down my face as I was writing a check
for partial payment of her care. For many months following her death,
I was writing checks to pay off the enormous bill.
Pet health insurance would have been the practical way to lower the cost of her
veterinarian care by reimbursing me up to 80% of the total cost of her treatment.
I've had several cats and dogs since Pepe and have made sure that I
purchased pet health insurance on each one of them.
